My name is Aaron Lin. I got involved with leadership to help make the school a better environment for the people around me. My job as a PR rep is to help bring the community together including teachers, staff, and clubs. I look forward to inspiring the people around me to achieve what they never thought was possible.
Aloha! My name is Aaryan Shah, and I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to serve as one of Irvington's your 2018-19 Freshmen Representatives. This year, I have plenty in mind to accomplish. With the new structure in place set by our amazing Executive Council, I have the ability to run the basic jobs of ASG and also extend my wings to create a positive environment at Irvington next year. I will generate that positivity by putting forth my spirited effort into events at Irvington such as rallies and dances, and make Irvington an easier and happier place for students to navigate. Personally, I have a few ideas in mind for events that would unite students all over the school pertaining both to service and spirit. I really hope that I can make a substantial impact on your high school experience. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through Instagram/Facebook to make 2018-19 full of memories :)
Hi my name is Afra Raza, I’m currently in my junior year, and I am in the procedural and SIA committee. I decided to join ASG because I wanted to represent the students at our school and also help the Irvington community at a larger extent. Having a role in ASG will allow me to execute the ideas I have in order the school better. This is also one of the reasons why I specifically joined SIA. Within SIA I will be able to spread my love for volunteering by helping out service clubs as well as coming up with service club. As a member of Procedural, I am excited to help schedule all the different events to ensure that all them are being evenly dispersed throughout the year.
Hello everyone! My name is Angela Xuan, and I'm honored to be serving in the procedural committee this year. I have been in leadership since elementary school, and it has impacted my life in so many positive ways. I'm looking forward to continuing my growth as a leader and as an individual, and I'm excited to see what we are able to accomplish. Let's have a great year!
Hi, I'm Anika Dixit and I am part of the Public Relations Standing Committee and the Spring Elections Ad Hoc. In PR I'm looking forward to creating better communication between students and staff. This year I also would like the Spring Elections will run as efficiently as possible. Each student should able to get as much information about each candidate so that they can choose the most suitable one. As a student in leadership, I would like to make our events as engaging and fun as possible. I really hope we all make the most of the year together!
Hi! My name is Arnav Kamra and I am an ASG Representative for the 2018-2019 ASG Class. Specifically, I am a member of the ICC (Clubs) and Finance Committees, but I am looking forward to helping on project such as Homecoming Elections and the Blacklight Rally/Dance. As an ICC representative for ASG, I work on making sure that every club on campus is equally represented and heard. In the finance committee, I help make sure ASG has enough funds for school events, while also managing the viking vendor and several other fundraisers. As a third-year member of ASG, I am fully ready to tackle the 2018-2019 school year and make sure that it’s unforgettable for every student on campus. For any questions or comments, feel free to contact me on Facebook or email me at email@example.com :))
Heyo! My name is Aryan Sanan and the year coming upon us will be my first year in Irvington ASG. What I really want is to personally grow as a leader and really show that anyone can make a difference. I’m really privileged to be in not only one but two of ASG’s standing committees which include Visualizations and Students in Action. With this I’m going to put in all of my efforts and hard work into making sure this year will be a blast. I look forward to working with not only everyone in ASG but the entire student body to make this year our best ! Also....DC isn’t dead.....🤷♂️
Hello please message me firstname.lastname@example.org with any suggestions or questions with building the connection between students and staff.
Hey, my name is Jason Li. I joined ASG and leadership to leave Irvington a better place than I found it and have a big impact. My ASG job is about public relations, which is to help bridge ASG and the Irvington public together. My goals for this year is to get to know more non-sophomores, get a 4.0 GPA, and represent and help my school and any way. I’m looking forward to knowing more and more people in Irvington and I’m excited to work with my fellow ASG peers to improve Irvington.
My name is Jasraj Singh and I am a 6'1 brown boy who will get hype to any Migos song ever. I got involved in leadership because I wanted to give back to Irvington High by creating a more unified school in order to create the best memories for the whole student body. I am a member of the finance committee; so, I am one of the people who approves purchases made by almost all parties within the school. I plan to ensure we make smarter purchases compared to previous years, and that we are able to create the best year at Irvington High that we have seen so far!
My name is Jennie Zhou and I’m currently a sophomore at Irvington High School. My job in visualizations is to publicize school events and increase school spirit. Ever since I could remember, I have always had a passion for videography/video editing. I started video editing at the age of 10 in 5th grade, a year after I had started taking gymnastics lessons. Although that realm of interest had died out, my passion for video editing and creating did not. Although there are copious reasons as to why I joined Irvington’s Associated Student Government, the primary reason is not only because I want to get involved and make valuable contributions to my class, but because I believe I can help make Irvington an enjoyable, better environment for everyone. I plan to not only grow as a leader this year, but to also grow as a person.
Hello my name is Kaitlyn Kodama and I am a member of the Internal Development Committee in the Associated Student Government. c: The ID committee oversees all the big and small events that are being planned for Irvington High School. I love this committee so much because we have the power to raise Viking spirit and raise the attendance per event that Irvington puts on. I am so so excited to be given the opportunity to make an impact on Irvington’s campus! By the end of this year, I want to be more connected to the student body and see more Viking Spirit! If you would like to contact me, my email is Kaitlyn.email@example.com.
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Phan and I am so excited to serve as your ASG Representative. As a member of Public Relations Committee, I look forward to better informing students and staff about all upcoming events on campus. Therefore, students are able to explore different ways to be more involved at Irvington High School and find something they are passionate about. Next year, I will also be serving as a member of Students in Action, a committee dedicated to awarding recognition to students who have helped serve our community and regulating the different service projects on campus. Additionally, I hope to plan and organize school-wide service events to spread awareness and engage students in our community. I hope to raise funding and awareness towards various causes affecting Fremont by planning events such as the Senior Citizen Ball, Special Ed Carnival, and WIP service event. I joined ASG to help improve students' experiences during their four years at Irvington High School and create a more welcoming, positive environment. On top of participating in the two committees, I hope to make Irvington more eco-friendly by incentivizing students to decrease waste and planning service events at local parks such as the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hello! My name is Linda Tran and I am ecstatic to being serving the associated student body as a member of both the Finance and Procedural Committee. As a member of the Finance Committee, I will be reviewing, recording, and keeping track of funds from clubs and other outlets. In addition, I will take part in creating memorable fundraisers in which I will try to accommodate to the student body's preferences. As a member of the Procedural Committee, I will be mostly reviewing forms such as master calendars and fundraising forms that will then go out to other committees such as the Finance Committee or the ICC Committee. It is an honor to be part of these two committees as they are intertwined allowing the committees to have a better communication with one another which will ultimately benefit the student body when processing events and more. One of my main objectives this year is being able to accommodate as many students as possible by acting on the desires of the student body. As an individual, I would have never thought I would be in ASG, which is one of the reasons I joined. I asked myself "why did I have such a thought?" and realized that I was afraid. Afraid of trying and being rejected so my personal goal this year is learning to open up and not to be afraid to try new experiences. I hope that with this mindset, I am able to serve the student body leaving no regrets and feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns about my tasks or anything! Let's have an extraordinary 2018-2019 school year :)
Hey! My name is Mariam, and I'll be serving as your Procedural commissioner for this upcoming year! I'm currently a junior, and this will be my second year in Irvington ASB. My job entails maintaining the logistical aspect of ASB, such as filing forms and sorting Master Calendars. However, I have a multitude of goals that don't specifically pertain to my job, but nonetheless are items that I find crucial to make our school a better place. I mainly want to improve the environmental aspect of our school for the upcoming year, including increasing my involvement in all goals related to campus beautification, making the Earth and Irvington a greener place, and enhancing how we as a community approach Earth Week. If you guys have any questions/comments/concerns/just want to talk, feel free to contact me at email@example.com! Let's cultivate a beautiful campus and have a productive year together :)
My name is Max He. As a senior in Irvington High School, I very much, through personal experience, observe and respect the necessity of clubs on our campus. They grant a room for expression, among other opportunities seldom found elsewhere. Therein, I’ve found my niche as Clubs Representative.
As Clubs Representatives we strive to build a qualified, proactive clubs system to help others realize and advance their passions. I aim to be a positive and dependable factor in the lives of the people around me.
Hello! My name is Monica and I am apart of the Internal Development Committee. Basically, I work with a couple other ASG members to plan events and projects at our school with efficiency and thoroughness, making sure every event is successful and enjoyable to our entire student body! With this, I really hope to achieve unity and inclusiveness to all groups, providing fun environments in which students can simply have a good time in. Being said, I am very passionate about creating memories and getting people involved, whether it's dances, rallies, or even spirit weeks. Joining leadership is a privilege, meaning I have the privilege to impact, which is primarily the reason I got involved in ASG. "Some people go to a beautiful place, and others make a place beautiful" is something I stand for, and plan to accomplish in many ways throughout this school year at Irvington!
Hey guys! I’m Natraj Vairavan, and for the 2018-2019 school year, I am a member of the Finance Committee. When I’m not at school, I’m reading, debating, volunteering, or roasting my friends. And no, I’m not 6 feet, 1 inch, I’m 6 feet, 1.5 inches.
Hi! My name is Nicole Li, and I cannot express my happiness for being part of ASG 18-19. I am a Freshman Representative, and is part of the Internal Development commission, which is in charge of overseeing ad-hocs, which are also commissions, but are not year-long. I am also part of the Freshman Class Council of 2022, where I have the same goal as I do in ASG of making the year 2018-2019 the best it can be while also growing as a person myself. Outside of school, my hobbies include binging Netflix shows and looking at funny videos on Instagram. Go Vikings!
Hello, my name is Nicole Zhi and I’m excited to be a part of Irvington’s ASG class of 2018-2019! I joined leadership because I want to make a positive impact in our school and be part of a hardworking environment. I am in the SIA, or students in action, committee which plans service projects/beautification to better our school campus and community. I hope to grow as a leader this year and look forward to being involved in planning school events.
HI VIKINGS!! I'm Paula Punzalan and I currently serve as an ASG representative working in the Internal Development Commission. Following Horner ASB, I have since been involved with IHS because I strive to be involved in something bigger than myself. Moreover, I have gained several experiences in leadership such as taking in lead roles in commissions and clubs that enhanced my passion for leadership. I believe that I can offer outreach, innovation, spirit, and new to Irvington based on my past experiences as an officer and chairs for clubs. By joining this leadership elective, the dedication I hold to pursuing things I love in Irvington allows me to gain two of the most critical skills for outstanding leadership: effective communication and transparency. My proactivity with the school despite the absence of ASG for my freshmen year, confirms I am willing to pursue and extend expectations for myself to create “better” in IHS and leave IHS better than I found it. One of my ASG jobs include reading the announcements for the 2018-2019 school year. In my commission, we act as the regulator of all ad-hoc committees within ASG to promote structure, accountability, as well as quality of events and projects. In the start of the school year, I worked as a Chair for one of the first major ad-hocs in ASG 2018-2019: Welcome Week. I plan to increase student involvement by advocating for those who may not get their opinions about the school/IHS campus/activities heard. I plan to create, invest my time in, and accomplish many amazing memories for Irvington and especially in my class of 2021 <3. A big goal I have is to grow from a leader to a possible entrepreneur so that I can work for my own ambition and success. Fall 6 times, get back up 7! My ambition was not taught, but comes solely from my interest in a good time. I can describe myself as impulsive too. I am also open to hearing possible ideas ASG can facilitate in the year. Some hobbies I take part in outside of leadership is travelling and visiting new food places. I’m looking forward for hyping up the rallies and seeing the many bright smiles of enjoyment in IHS. Share memes with me or say Hi and we can chill!
I am Pranati Sadhu and I am a sophomore this year. I love dogs, movies and leadership;)) I got into leadership in the 8th grade when I applied for the freshman class council. As the year went on, I started interacting with more people who were in the ASG, which lit my interest to be a part of the student government. I decided to apply and I got into 2 committees: public relations and visualizations. Public Relations focuses on creating relationships with teachers and the student body as well as leading public forums. We work on appreciating students on their achievements. In addition, we reach out to horner and lead events such as freshman orientation. In visualizations, our job is creating the Irvington brand and publicizing for upcoming events. My goals for this year in ASG is working on appreciation. I want to make sure every students hard work is recognized through our school. In addition, I want to reach out to more students and increase event attendance by making attractive and interactive fliers. I want to brighten the Irvington environment and bring us together. I’m looking forward to making this school year one of the best years for Irvington High school.
Hi! My name is Priyanka and I will be a part of the Finance Committee for the 2018-2019 leadership team. I am an incoming sophomore and some of my hobbies outside of school include playing tennis and participating in STEM-related activities. I look forward to working with the rest of my committee to create and update budgets for clubs, organize fundraisers that incorporate and interest all grades, track and maintain the Viking Vendor, review and approve check requests, and much more. I am also excited to just learn more about how to handle money in a professional setting while getting to know the members in my committee and ASG better. If you have any questions or concerns regarding finance, don't hesitate to ask me, Varun, or anyone else in this committee: @financeihsvikings.org !
Hi, My name is Rohin Puvvada and I am a sophomore in Irvington. In ASG, my role is Procedural Committee. Essentially this committee works on evaluating the Master Calendar, and we also file records. Another important thing we do is organizing team building activities within ASG. I decided to join ASG because being apart of Leadership at my school really makes me feel positive and blissful, because I know that I am helping the school in a way, and making an impact. Some goals I have is to work on as many ad-hocs(events) as possible and make a difference in my school. Being apart of ASG is something I ever wanted since 7th grade, when I tried out for Horner’s ASB, and didn’t pass. Once I made ASG, I was really glad I accomplished this goal since middle school.
Hello please email me firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns that you’s like to talk about.
Hey there! I’m Val, an Irvington High School sophomore, and I joined ASG because I wanted to make a positive impact on the world. Im jubilant to be given the chance to serve as a member of the visualizations committee for the year of 2018 to 2019. Our team contributes fliers, promotional videos, social media publication, and even website maintenance; just like the page you are scrolling through right now! My goals for the upcoming school year are to reach out to the neglected students of Irvington High to make them feel at home, and to destroy my pSAT. >:) In my free time I enjoy jamming out to Spotify and surfing the web. Can't wait for a great year! :)
Hello! My name is Winston Wu, and I am exceptionally honored to serve as Irvington's club representative for the 2018-2019 school year. This year, my team and I will strive to continue making the club system a safe space for groups of students to pursue their passions and interests. The Inter-Club Council (ICC) was created for that sole purpose, and we hope your voices are heard this year. I embarked in the long path of leadership 6 years ago, through the boy scouts platform. Since then, I have receiving multiple leadership opportunities on and off campus, and I can finally pursue my skills onto a school-wide level. Feel free to contact me for anything through my email at email@example.com or message me on Facebook.
Whats up! I'm Yohaan and I'm a junior here at Irvington. Music is my absolute favorite thing in the world and I enjoy listening to all different types of genres. I chose to be a part of the ASG family because I truly love what we are able to accomplish throughout the school year and the positive energy we create around campus. Im in the Internal Development committee and our main job as a part of ASG is to oversee Irvington ASG Events put on during the year. This year I really want to make sure that all events, especially the ones during the middle of the year, have high participation numbers from the student population. I'm especially looking forward to all of the rallies, I think they are truly the most exciting part of high school by far.
